OSCE Preparation Program

The OSCE is the next stage in the OBA process after successfully passing the MCQ NCLEX –RN.  This program will prepare the student through intensive face to face learning, simulation classes and mock OSCE sessions.

Program structure

  • 2 weeks of face-to-face class plus simulation (campus: Myrtleford)
  • Mock OSCE sessions

Key features

  • Access to the program content via our Learning Management System (LMS);
  • Classes and clinical supervision delivered by our team of experienced Nurse Educators;
  • Direct communication to Nurse Educator via LMS;
  • Ongoing review, simulation and practice ;
  • Skills demonstration and simulation;
  • Mock OSCE exams;
  • Student Support coordinator to provide students support for the duration of the program;
  • Small class sizes to enhance student’s learning experience;
  • Accommodation can be arranged on campus (fees will apply);
  • Administrative support team to assist students with their travel arrangements to Myrtleford, transport to their accommodation site (optional), setting up bank accounts and orientation to Myrtleford, including the Alpine Health site, town centre and facilities, as well as other community facilities and attractions.

Fees

  • OSCE  - $3,000 AUD ( excludes accommodation )
  • MCQ NCLEX- RN + OSCE = $3,500  (save $500 when booked together)

Entry Requirements

  • NCLEX-RN MCQ results screenshot of candidate’s dashboard clearly stating their name and current application step.
  • Copy of ID document (passport or driver’s license – if candidate lives in Australia)
  • Immunisation evidence – a list of the required immunisations will be sent upon enrolment
  • Australian Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)
  • Victorian Working with children check (WWCC) – if candidate is still living outside Victoria, this can be obtained upon arrival in Victoria or on course commencement
  • Visa
  • Travel insurance (recommended)
