Doing the IRON program under Lonsdale Institute was a challenging but interesting experience for me. But the whole process is worthwhile as I get to work in Alpine Health, where I did my student placement. I am so grateful that the staff and the community are accommodating and friendly which made the transition trouble-free.

I would like to thank the Alpine Health Team for giving me the opportunity to develop my skills as a Registered Nurse in Australia. They instilled in me the knowledge of Patient Care and keeping abreast with the latest standards of Nursing Practice and Evidence Based Research. They have given me the chance to practice my clinical skills on multiple scenarios to promote patient safety and satisfaction.

To Alpine Health,our lecturer/ preceptors who embraced and guided me of who I am today they prepared and transformed me to be an accountable and independent, effective and efficient Nurse here in Australia, I will be forever grateful for all your patience and support for believing in me without any hesitation.
Secondly, thank you to the community of Myrtleford and Mount Beauty, Victoria ,where I found friends and treated me as a family.

2013 graduate, Alpine Health RN & Student Services Coordinator
I did the IRON programme back in November 2013. Close to the end of the bridging programme, I was fortunate to secure a job with Alpine Health as a Grade 2 RN.
After my first child was born, I joined Alpine Institute as an educator and taught the IRON students. From there, I had gone full circle from an international student to an educator. It was a rare privilege to teach my fellow internationally qualified nurses and be sent to the Philippines to teach the last two cohorts of the IRON programme.
Currently, I am the Student Services Coordinator for Alpine Institute looking after the welfare and clinical placements of students across all programs both domestic and international students. I have been with Alpine Health for almost 8 years now and looking forward to more years of service.
