Outcomes-Based Assessment (OBA)

We deliver a range of programs to help you prepare to successfully pass the MCQ NCLEX-RN and the OSCE examination. In addition, we deliver a work readiness program to prepare you to work in the Australian health care environment, providing you with greater employment opportunities.

Background

The Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia (NMBA) has transitioned to a permanent approach in the assessment of International Qualified Nurses and Midwifes (IQNMs). Changes took effect in January 2019 and have streamlined the assessment process.

In March 2020, the NMBA transitioned to an outcomes-based assessment (OBA) for International Qualified Nurses and Midwifes (IQNMs) who are seeking registration in Australia. The OBA replaces the bridging program (IRON - EPIQ).
